Role: Organisational & Workforce Development (OWD) Manager (Involvement and Internal Engagement)
Salary: £43,884 to £50,415 (pending pay award)
Location: Flexible
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Temporary secondment for 2 years

The Organisational and Workforce Development (OWD) Team are focused on supporting colleagues in their role to make a difference in the quality of care for Scotland. The team’s purpose is to work collaboratively to develop our organisation and its workforce to be the best and to do that with energy, drive and determination.
The OWD Team provides a wide range of support from inspecting, to involving people who experience care, in shaping what we do through to positively engaging and developing our staff and the wider organisational culture.
The post holder will report to the Head of Organisational and Workforce Development and will manage a small team. The specific focus for the role will be to further develop our approach to involving people, as set out in our new Involving People strategy. As such you will lead on the development of a strong internal engagement function. The role will also be responsible for the development and delivery of key corporate projects that impact on the organisation and its workforce, as we continue to build on developing a positive organisational culture through our culture strategy.
You will be an experienced manager with a strong track record of leading successful delivery of organisational wide projects. Passionate about involving and supporting people and with a strong collaborative leadership approach, you will work alongside the OWD Manager (People and Development) in leading and delivering the functions of the service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape and lead important high impact projects of change.
