Job Title: Programme Lead, CAPA2
Salary: CS1 - £59,595
Hours: 40 per week
Contract: Temporary for 18 months from appointment
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Care Inspectorate for a person with the right skills in improvement, leadership and strategic thinking to lead the CAPA 2 improvement programme. The CAPA 2 improvement programme will spread and upscale the successful improvement seen as a result of the CAPA programme and work across the regions in Scotland to promote physical activity with older people in the care sector. This is a full time Programme Lead post.
This role will act as the Care Inspectorate’s national improvement programme lead for the CAPA 2 improvement programme and will involve working at a national strategic level and across professional and organisational boundaries, in partnership and in collaboration with others including Care Inspectorate staff from across the organisation, service providers, people who use services and their carers, allied health and health professionals, social care services, the independent and voluntary sector, and local/national education providers.
This role will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of the CAPA 2 improvement programme and provide leadership, direction and operational support to the CAPA 2 manager and team ensuring the Care Inspectorate delivers its corporate outcomes and its statutory duty for furthering improvement in the quality of care.
Educated to degree level, together with ScIL, or an equivalent certificated improvement qualification, this role requires extensive experience of successfully leading programmes of improvement. It requires the ability to think strategically and influence at all levels across health and social care. The successful applicant will have extensive experience of developing and delivering learning/educational events and applying improvement science and methodology.
