The Care Inspectorate and ASH Scotland are working in collaboration with a provider, as well as Young Inspectors, to develop tobacco free guidance for providers of residential care for children and young people.
This guidance is expected to be launched in early 2017 and will require that all providers of residential services have a tobacco free policy in place to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Scotland who use residential services.
