Approved Procurement Strategy 2016-19
Following internal and external consultation, a revised Procurement Strategy was approved by the Care Inspectorate and SSSC Resources Committees in September 2016. The strategy covers the period 2016-19 and has been informed by the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 and the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

University of Dundee to launch Care and Compassion resource
As part of the Scottish Improvement Science Collaborating Centre’s Knowledge into Action at Scale work, an online course will be launched at the end of October. The course – ‘Care and Compassion: Getting it Right’ is free and applicable to a wide range of care settings.
