From March 2026 our eCSQs will be hosted on a different platform, we will no longer be using MS forms for this process. This will support our transition to new systems during our Digital Transformation in 2026. As the transition progresses and we go live with the new system, further guidance and support on this process will be made available.
Services will now receive a communication via eForms, which will contain guidance on how to use the eCSQs and links to them. These links and requests to complete the questionnaires should be shared with all relevant people as before.
You can now print and display the eCSQ poster in your service or send it to people electronically, for example if people do not routinely visit your premises. We would encourage all services to do this and will ask for this to be done during inspection if they are not already displayed. People can access the questionnaires via the links and a QR code on the posters up to the point your draft report is issued. The links will then stop working and should no longer be displayed.
During inspection, inspectors can also send these links out to people to receive their feedback on the service. We will handle all personal details in line with our legislation and data protection.
Paper copies of CSQs will also be re-introduced for childminding services. There will be no changes to the way in which other paper CSQs are managed. These will be sent to the manager or childminder for distribution to people who use the service.
