We are currently reviewing Key Question 7 (KQ7) for the following service types:
- Secure accommodation services
- Mainstream boarding schools and school hostels
- Care homes for children and young people and school care accommodation (special residential schools)
We are also reviewing the use and impact of the self-evaluation tool on restrictive practices for services this applies to.
As part of our review, we want to hear the views of staff, managers and providers from across the sector. Please help us understand your experience of KQ7 and the self-evaluation tool on restrictive practices by completing the survey below, which also provides an opportunity to sign up for focus groups we will be running in relation to our reviews. We are also engaging with our inspectors as well as children and young people as part of the review process. These activities will form a separate part of our consultation phase.
