Unfortunately, the LGBT Charter Group has just been informed that one of our external speakers for tomorrow is ill. Tomorrow’s event will, therefore, be re-scheduled and we will be in touch shortly with a new date and time. Thank you for understanding.

The Care Inspectorate’s LGBT Charter Group would like to invite Care Inspectorate staff, volunteers and people working in care services to register for our upcoming conversation cafés. We are creating a safe and respectful space to hear a conversation about what it is like to be transgender. This will be achieved by reminding everyone to act in accordance with our organisational values.

Natalie and Alex will be sharing their lived experience of being trans and offering their perspectives, on what it takes to be a good trans ally. This conversation is facilitated by members of the LGBT Charter Group. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions if you want to (either in advance of the event via email which will be used to help shape the conversation or on the day).
