The ‘amend manager, provider or service details’ application has been unavailable in the digital portal for the last week. We are working to make the full application available as soon as possible.

This means you are currently unable to request any changes to the provider or service details.   

In the meantime, we have enabled the ‘amend managers details' section. This will allow you to apply notify us of a change of manager within your service.

This is available in the managers details section under ‘Amend manager, provider or service details’ section of your service. When you select this option, you will only be presented with ‘change of manager’ option.

Please note this functionality is not available for childminding services.

Supporting documentation

We have also added guidance to the supporting documentation section in the ‘Amend manager, provider, or service details’ application. This now ‘states:

‘Please attach supporting documents. Note that these may be viewed by other portal users within your organisation.’.

In progress and submitted applications

We are also making changes to the processing of any ‘amend manager, provider or service details’ applications that are currently in progress or submitted.

For any in progress applications created on or before 23 April, we will contact you by eshot directly.

For applications created after 23 April 2021 that requested changes to your provider or service details you will see a change of status to ‘Under Review’. This means you cannot view or submit the application at this time. The application will remain however you will not be able to submit it. You will be able to withdraw the application, if required. We will provide an update once you are able to submit your request.  

Any in-progress application, for a change of manager only, created after 23 April 2021, will be able to be submitted and it will be progressed by the Care Inspectorate.
