Today we are pleased to announce the publication of Early Learning and Childcare: Our Role, Purpose and Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This sets out we adapted our support and monitoring of Scotland’s ELC settings (including childminders and out of school care), during the pandemic. It includes real-life stories from providers across Scotland to highlight how we supported different settings as they continued to provide children with safe, engaging and stimulating care and learning experiences in difficult circumstances. It highlights strengths that have emerged despite the challenges and identifies a number of key learnings to take forward.
