Come along if you would like to:

  1. Hear from our inclusive research team about a three-year dementia study at the University of Stirling.
  2. Try some of the ways people with dementia were helped to live well during the study - the day is interactive! This includes music playlists, animal therapy and reminiscence.
  3. Find out about our dementia photography project. You can look at the photographs on display.

Booking information - the event is free but booking is essential

  • When booking, please book places separately for the person with a learning disability and supporter, if required.
  • A maximum of ten places may be booked at one time. Please contact the organisers if you need more than ten places.

Travel information

  • Parking is free at the Stirling Court Hotel but cannot be guaranteed. Please collect a ticket from the machine when you enter and validate it at reception before you leave. If the car park is full you can park on the university campus but must pay the day rate of £5.
  • If travelling by bus, please ask to get off at the bus hub in the middle of campus. The hotel is across the road from the hub.

  • Access, lunch and all conference activity is on the ground floor.
  • Reception desk and conference rooms are fitted with a hearing loop.
