The Care Inspectorate is currently recruiting Young Inspection Volunteers to be involved in the inspection of services for children and young people throughout Scotland.

Young Inspection Volunteers are aged 18-26 and have a personal experience of using services themselves. The role does require travel, however expenses, transport and hotel accommodation is provided. Young Inspection Volunteers receive 5 days induction training in June and ongoing support and training throughout their volunteering.

An information leaflet and application form is attached, and we would be delighted to hear from any young people who may be interested in applying or finding out more.

Closing date for applications is Friday 26 May and induction training for new Young Inspection Volunteers will take place over 5 days in July.
