Our equality reports demonstrating our commitment and approach to equality work have now been published. These explain how we meet and progress our public sector duties under the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012.

The first report ‘Equality Outcomes, Mainstreaming Report and Action Plan Review 2015-17’ sets out details of the work undertaken to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations since April 2015.

The second report 'Equality Outcomes, Mainstreaming Report and Action Plan 2017 -19',sets out our four new equality outcomes and provides details of our approach to mainstreaming equality across the Care Inspectorate. Information on the Gender Pay Gap and Employee Equality Monitoring is also presented within the report. The Equality Impact Assessment carried out on this report is also available.

These reports have been produced in consultation with equality groups, service users and employees over the past year.
