We have developed a procurement strategy to cover the period 2013 to 2016.
A full review of the existing strategy has been carried out to ensure our procurement processes reflect the current procurement regulations and legislation.
As well as the procurement regulations and legislation, the development of this strategy has been informed by feedback from the internal Procurement Development Group, Internal Audit recommendations and the annual Procurement Capability Assessment undertaken by Scottish Government. The proposed strategy includes an action plan of development activities to improve our overall procurement capability.
The purpose of this consultation is for us to consider if the proposed strategy has any impact on equality groups such as age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.
As part of our consultation process we would appreciate it if you could review the proposed strategy and answer the questions in this survey by Friday 5 April 2013.
