We have published two new reports in relation to our approach to equality which will help demonstrate how we meet our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012.

The first report ‘Equality Outcomes, Mainstreaming Report and Action Plan Review 2013-15’ sets out details of the work undertaken to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations since April 2013.

The second report sets out six new equality outcomes and provides details of our approach to mainstreaming equality across the Care Inspectorate. Information on the Gender Pay Gap and Employee Equality Monitoring is also presented within the report , publication of which follows consultation undertaken with equality groups, service users and employees earlier this year.
