This year, every child in Scotland aged between 2 and 11 will be offered the flu vaccine.

The flu immunisation programme is being extended to ensure children are protected, and the risk of the virus being spread to others is reduced.

Children aged between 2 and 5 will be offered the vaccine at their GP practice, and those aged between 5 and 11 will be offered it at school.
