We have published Improving Care in Scotland: What the Care Inspectorate did in 2013/14.
Each year we collect lots of information about the care sector in Scotland. Much of this statistical information is also available in our annual reports and accounts 2013/2014, which was published earlier this month.
This information informs our future work and priorities, along with the work of others across the sector.
As a quality report, this publication provides a snapshot of what our 600 staff has been doing throughout the past year. Moreover, this review of the year also strives to tell the human story behind the statistical figures.
In regulation, inspection and improvement, it is our responsibility to ensure that the most vulnerable people in our society receive the best care possible.
