The Role: Modern Apprentice in Business Administration

The Care Inspectorate's role is to check care and support in Scotland. We monitor and review services provided by care homes that people live, support that people get at home, and care services for children. We provide assurance and protection for people who use services, their families and carers and the wider public to improve the quality of care for people in Scotland.
The Care Inspectorate has a Modern Apprenticeship post in their Paisley office for a young person between the ages of 16 and 24. In this post you will have on the job training and support and gain invaluable paid work experience leading to a Business Administration SVQ level 2 qualification. In this post you will learn how to provide business support to various functions within the organisation and develop business administration skills in a number of areas.
As a modern apprentice you will be required to develop skills, knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of the role with a view to building knowledge and an understanding of the Care Inspectorate and the team you support. You must be a keen learner, have a positive attitude, be well presented and have a good knowledge of computers, particularly Microsoft Office packages and be able to demonstrate that you have the ability and commitment to complete further education at SVQ level 2.
