The SSSC have launched a consultation on the revised Codes of Practice for Social Service Workers and Employers and the implementation of a fitness to practise approach to regulation.

The Care Inspectorate and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) have issued joint guidance on the legal requirement for staff to register with the SSSC within a six month period.
