The event is open to all services who care/support children and young people who are of school age. Target audience is anyone who works with children or young people in a group setting e.g. schools, after school clubs, residential services etc.
General info about e-bug:
- e-Bug is a free, online educational science resource covering the topics of microbiology, hygiene and health. It teaches children and young adults in Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 about microorganisms and the spread, prevention and treatment of infection.
- e-Bug resources are research based and have been developed by Public Health England in collaboration with teachers, health professionals and students and to date, the e-Bug programme has been used widely in England and Scotland where it is linked to the National Curriculum.
It will be a fun and interactive session designed to allow participants to engage children and young people in learning about infection and antibiotics.
