Small Ideas, Big Impact Grants – Opening 1st October 2018

Food Train is launching the Eat Well, Age Well Project: Small grants being made available to support older people living at home who are at risk of becoming malnourished. 

What are the grants?

Applicant can apply for funds ranging from £50 to £5000 to test ideas which will prevent, detect and/or treat malnutrition. If you have an idea, or ideas, to help older people to eat more, to eat better and to improve their wellbeing, then we would love to hear from you. We would like this fund to reach as far and wide across all communities across Scotland.

Can I apply?

This fund has been specifically designed so that individuals, community groups, social enterprises, charities and public-sector workers can test out their ideas around the theme of older people living well via well. You could be a carer, a dietician, or a volunteer or a maybe you are a member of your community who would like to make a difference to local older people.

When do applications open and how do I apply?

Applications open on Monday 1st October and will close on 7th December 2018.
