Scotland’s biggest training event for childminders to be held in Dunfermline.
The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) is preparing to host its AGM and Conference on Saturday 26 October 2013. The conference, held this year at the Carnegie Conference Centre, is a chance for Scotland’s childminders to meet and learn together. Topics covered on the day will include bullying and cyber-bullying, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), domestic abuse and nurturing through nature.
SCMA’s Communications Co-ordinator, Leigh Irvine, said of the event; “This is a great opportunity for childminders to come together and expand their knowledge on some very topical issues. We’re happy to be holding the event in Dunfermline again as it’s proven to be a popular location in the past.”
